Acer Nitro 5 Entry-Level Gaming Laptop Is $70 Off at Best Buy

Getting into PC gaming isn’t always accessible when you’re on a budget. Some PC towers can cost anywhere in the $ 1000s (plus more if you’re looking to customize certain parts). Lucky for you, there’s a much more affordable option if you’re just starting out: The Acer Nitro 5.

This nifty little machine is a great entry-level gaming computer, and if you’re ready to close the deal on one, the Acer Nitro 5 is currently $ 70 off at Best Buy. Along with this nice chunk of savings, Best Buy is throwing in a free 6-month subscription to Trend Micro Internet Security – which can cover up to 3 devices and is a $ 29.99 value – to sweeten the deal.

The Acer Nitro 5 is perfect for beginners in the PC gaming space. Included in this well-rounded package is an 8GB system memory and AMD Ryzen 5 processor to make sure all of your programs run smoothly. A comfortable 1TB of storage space (that’s 1000GB for reference) is included as well and its 15.6″ HD display boasts beautiful images in tandem with an AMD Radeon RX 560X graphics card. Other perks include a striking red backlit keyboard, an HDMI output, a webcam/microphone combo, and a headphone jack (sorry, no disk drive). Also, it’s a laptop – meaning you can take it anywhere (unlike a big ol’ PC tower).

The Acer Nitro 5 earned props in PCMag’s review for its inexpensive price, “capable 1080p gaming performance,” 1TB hard drive, and more.

If you’re just starting your move into PC gaming and don’t want anything that’s too complicated, the Acer Nitro 5 should probably already be at the top of your list. For $ 70 off over at Best Buy, it’s hard to say no.
