Google Pixel 3 Promo Page Teases New Color

Pixel 3 Coming Soon

Google is reportedly mixing up the color options for its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones.

Droid Life discovered a Pixel 3 promo page that appears to reveal three different color options. “Coming soon,” the page reads alongside the outline of a phone. Clicking the “G” logo on the phone lets you check out each color: black, white, and mint.

Last year’s Pixel 2 came in black, white, and a pale “kinda blue” shade. The original Pixel came in silver, black, and a bold “really blue” shade.

Meanwhile, images posted to the XDA-Developers forums late last month appear to show off the white version of the larger XL variant. Rumors indicate that the Pixel 3 XL will feature an all-glass back to allow for wireless charging and a large notch at the top of the display. The Pixel 3 is said to be notchless.

It won’t be long before Google officially shows off the new Android Pie handsets. The web giant’s Pixel event is scheduled for Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. ET. PCMag will be there, so stay tuned for more.

In other smartphone news, Android Headlines got its hands on a photo purportedly showing the new Razer Phone 2, and it’s a bit of a letdown. If the photo is indeed legit, the side bezels on the Razer Phone 2 may be a tad bigger than those on the original Razer Phone, but the front of the Razer Phone 2 otherwise looks pretty much identical to the front of its predecessor.

“Razer does not seem intent on changing the design in any meaningful way – at least when it comes to the front of the device,” the site reported.
